It's good to do this against the London System, as you demonstrated. I think it's because the endgames are sometimes very comfortable for Black and because it confuses London players that are used to you "doing something". So well played!
When I get in to closed Italians in some lines I feel it's so positional it just dances around -0.2 to +0.2 the entire game, many more moves than normal, and the first player who "does something" just loses because it's like they crack... they can't hold the tension of this "nothing is happening"... Chess can be like that sometimes there becomes wild stuff after just a few moves and sometimes it will be a tense drawish game for many many many many moves ![]()
