Write your own thoughts down as your playing a game: what your think about a position: why you played a move, what suprised you or worried you in this way stronger players looking at your games can better understand your thought process and they will be able to comment on strategical and tactical play as well as any technical slip ups you make.

Thanks for the ideas guys, I think I wil start to write down, the moves made during a game.
Later when time permits I can run them through on my chess board and go from there.
I dont have any computer based chess software on the PC and have subsequently removed the Chessmaster Challenge that I had on the computer as it was freezing up on me or the computer based players were continually running out of time regardless of how much time I gave them after a few moves.
A chess Journal, mmm, it is a thought something that I will keep in mind for later, as I know through my running journals how good they can be to look back on.
thanks again
all other ideas and comments are still welcom.
Hi cann anyone tell me if there is any way that you can analyse a game that is played against the Chess.com computer?
I have been playing the machine for many many games now and have never won any of them, but over the past few days I have been getting down to the wire so to speak, withonly a few Pawns a King each and a mix of A Knight, Rook, Bishop.
I have been holding the piece advantage but take my eye off the ball and the coin is flipped in the computers favour.
If I was able to look at these games then maybe (through a long shot) be able to find out where I went wrong and prevent it from happening again.
