continuing the attack

converting a good position into an attack is probably my biggest weakness. i can often get into an advantageous position just to throw away the initiative. here i tried to keep the pressure up and missed one simple thing. but regardless, how should i have continued the attack!

Not easy to talk about transition in live chess. I guess this was 10 min game. Much more is missed there than in CC chess.

What would I do (and I don't say that is best by any criteria) is 27...fxg4.

Well, my 1st thought is you were lucky not to lose your queen after 10 ... 0-0-0??

After 11 Nd5 Qa4(only square) 12 b3 the lady is trapped...

thats wrong. a4 isn't my only safe square i got c5. i play this line a lot if my queen got trapped everytime i've seen this position i'd be 900 lol

Sorry chap but rooperi is right. Keep playing this line and you WILL be 900 very soon. Foot in mouth

Here are some ideas. Not too sure about every single variation, but for your attack you could have done better and your opponent could have defended better. And I'm not too sure about your opening. If your opponent had instead attacked your Queenside, it may have been quite difficult for you.

Edit: Sorry also ignore that random rook on a8 lol. Was too focused on the Kingside, I completely ignored the rook there.
