okay so pretty much i made a horrible mistake in this game because i was low on time so i played fast and didn't see it. The thing is that when i went back and looked at this game i kept thinking that maybe if i would have worked with my rook and bishop i could have forced a trade for the H pawn. I am not sure though, so maybe one of you pro chess players could analyze it and let me know.

i think you missed a cute little queen sac here. 32. ...Qxf1 wins the game (if 33. Kxf1 Re1#

I'm sure you had a chance to win.  First, let's look at the position after the constan trades at move 15.  White's doubled f-pawn will be hard to defend without seriously weakening the king.  Black should castle and then start getting his pawns on light squares as well as opening at least one file for the rooks, c4 seems like a decent way to do that. Now lets looks at move 22 where black chops the pawn but allows the white queen penetration. The white knight has no where to go why not Qxd4 if Qc6 Bc5 threatening mate.Whhite would be forced into Rf1 and then f3 could be unpleasant.

You definitely had some chances Laughing
