16. e4 sacrafices a strong central pawn and creates a weakness with isolated d4 pawn. You win the b2 pawn, but his is not a good tradeoff. 20 .. Nb4 moves a piece toward the edge, forces the queen trade and allows white to consolidate two weak isolated pawns into connected pawns. 26. ...Kf8 prevents back row mate and moves king closer to the center for the endgame.

This is my game from Devon Junior Championships Round 4.
My opponent was not paticuarly strong and he doesn't know his openings very well but I found myself confused for what to play even though I knew it was probably wrong. I lost and I would really like it if people could help me out with what I could of done to convert my pawn advantage into a win! I was black and my grade given is rapidplay!
