Recently, in a topic about Robert Fischer, I mentioned that et years of his greatest succeses he lost a game against Vlatko Kovacevic, a croatian master, who even hat not an international title at the moment. It was at the tounrament in Zagreb, Croatia, 1970. A game can be interesting, so I post it here, with translations of some Kovacevic's coments. Excuse for a bd english, but moves are the most important! He described a way how he prepared an improvement in opening - it's how grandmasters work! Kovacevic is born 1942, and he is still an active player. with 2499 rating points.
You also must have in mind that it was much more dificulgt to become a GM or IM at that time. There were about 100 GMs in the world, today is more then 1000.
