Getting a mate in 3 instead of a mate in 1 is a miss.

So I was analysing my game and I found a mate in 4 so i stopped looking and played it. The game review said it was a miss because there was a mate in 1. (The move actually lead to a Mate in 3 but I was playing the Mate in 4)
