Because after Nxd5, Nxe5, threatening to play Nxf7, and then Qh5+ If something like Nxd5, Nxe5, then he plays something like 0-0 you play c3 after Nc6, Nxc6, bxc6 and black has a weak king

Id go bf7 and if rook takes then qf3. Id expect qf8 and i can then back up the open file with my rook but who knows what they would end up doing with they remaining bishop

It appears the point is that you don’t take back with the bishop but can take both black center pawns and get great control of the center. You were up a piece so you don’t end up down material and are converting your advantage to center control. And of course any sacrifice that the machine thinks is good ends up being marked as brilliant.
