How many moves can your engine/hardware analyse?

I am curious to know how many kn/s does your computer analyse?

I have a 3.5GHz 4770M i7 with 16 gigs ram at 1600Mhz. 

My stockfish on SCID analyses between 5000-6000kn/s at 4 threads but the temperature is going to 90 degree celcius which i think is too much...

anyone has any special UCI parameter settings for strong analyses with lower CPU temperature?

A lot less than your PC, but that's OK, I'm not prone to analysis envy. :)

If your temps are running too high, I guess you'll have to back off the settings to one thread.

Ill try using 2 threads.

Oops, OK. 4 threads to 2 threads might work.

Changing cooler might help. Or possibly use cooling fan with variable speed support . . .
