My rating is considerably lower than yours, but this is my opinion:
why Re4? maybe first try to build up something with your knight, the play Re3, and build an attack on the kingside, with the queen, the rook and the knight...if needed, an attack with your pawns with the rook knight and queen is also a good idea...you should've won this one, in my opinion...try running the game in a chess engine and analyze it... cheers
Maybe Rg4 and then Qh6?-strong moves.
Thanx for the responce.
The Rg4 Qh6 was the basic idea. But Nf5 will solve this thread for black. Maybe is Re3 Better and attaking in the H7 corner. Never passed my mind. I did analyse the whole game and Frits pointed out to push in the center. Still I think that there is more in it.
Maybe Knight on the g4?
you mean knight h4? i don't think so because the knight cant move forward, only back to Nf3...
Fritz told to push in the center? Maybe pin the knight to the rook with Ba3 and the advance with the pawns
I mean knight on g4. That is 3 moves though but is it strong enough.
( h3, .. Nh2,.. Ng4) Takes to long maybe.
Frits said Ba3 but then i move the bishop out of the ideal line trough the center and after Re8 i dont have improved.
Or maybe take the Knight on E7 and then push on the kingside.
Hi,
I have a question about a game i played yesterday. It ended in a draw. But that wasn't satisfying.
After a good opening i attacked on the kingside and that didn't work out well.
Please give me some pointers. What are strong moves after this?
