How to get good at mid game?

Hello everyone,

I am new to chess, it has been a few days since I started. I bought diamond membership and watched courses on chess.com. Also, I played several vs AI games.

I believe my opening part is not bad. However, when it is mid game, even though I am the advantagous side, I mess up during the mid game and lose all of my advantage. Two of the examples are given below.

How can I get good at mid game, what are your suggestions for beginners? I play rapid(10 minutes) games.

You are missing tactics so practice these...also 10 minutes is a bit fast for a beginner - play slower games so you have the time to see more things.

Develop all pieces, connect rooks, castling, counter play, control the center, keep your king safe, don't blunder...

Play longer games and from what I saw in the second game/link,  before taking a piece, try to use the initiative to improve a piece that can join the attack.

And u should really take more care of your knights.

Step 1. Watch and enjoy The Queens Gambit on Netflix.

Step 2. Remember that you played a few games as a child and decide to join a chess website to get back into it.

Step 3. Play a few games and realise that you can't just play well and win games like a natural.

Step 4. Ask for advice on how to get better.

Step 5. Realise that to get better requires a lot of time, effort and patience.

Step 6. Quit the website and search for another hobby.

I was tilting lately in blitz.  I decided to just play computers for a while, but when I went back to live games I was still tilting.  So tried doing puzzles for a couple days.  I tried live again and now I am grinding my way back up.  So I recommend puzzles to refresh your tactical instinct.
