9. ... ngf6 is a bigger mistake. Without f5, there is just no play. Hippos are nasty beasts and kill those who mess with them. Black didn't know what he was doing and should have stayed away.

ak lacks penetration for big animal, its for humans. I see you are german, so maybe a 7.65 mauser instead?
Nice game. 25 is the key, hard to see the combos, but it certainly opened black to doom.
