Could someone tell me what should I had done other way to win this game

http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=1309428223

To raise up the pawn to queen. It came draw because I accidentally make same repetations. The opposite just made chess and chess and chess, etc...I played white and white's side was down at the start, although at the end my King is up the board. I even had time on my side. I did had about 4 minutes left and opposite 1 minute so I should just keep on let him do his chesses without same situations repetations, but that is not the question. The question was could I somehow prevent the black do his chesses?

not sure if the position could be win, if there's a way it's going to be a pain.

I did  a very light investigation and I think there's no real way to make porogress but an engine could solve the doubt for sure. don't forget that also 50 moves without trading pieces or moving pawns are also a draw.

Thanks your answer! I'm quite newbie in chess, so i don't how to examine situations with engines (I don't have programs). There is a link "Computer analysis" and "Finish Game vs. Computer" but those doesn't work in my browser.

Hi Petri :)

In relation to another discussion: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/chess-rating-system

If I had won this by time, in such a way that the opponent clock would be gone to 00: 00: 00, so would it have been worth the same gain as the elegant checkmate?

In long game opponent could have requeted ruling by judge if you dont make any progress,

is it really so? I thought there was the rule of 50 moves for that.

ok ty for the clarification, anyway less than 2 minutes OTB it's more likely less then a minute here.
