I hate this opening...
Yes, the later post is the more normal move order. In the original post, your moves were fine. I think I would have blocked the queen check with 5. Be2, preparing to castle, instead of trading queens. Then you can develop your other pieces with a gain of time by attacking the queen. For instance, developing your knight to c3 would force his queen to move from e4.

To be honest i just play 3.Nc3 and turn it into a 3 knights opening that way its simple development and i dont have to go and study it to much and of course it protects my e pawn.But what was shown above is the normal line i believe....
Oh and when he plays Qe7 u would play either Nf3 or d4 first then Nf3
I would like to know what the text book move is to this senario, if there are many possibilities, I would only like one. If I actually played good, I would like to know.... Ty very much for your time, I play white.
