That was very bad of your opponent not to analyze the bishop sac through. Very very bad. I wish I could say I've never been guilty of that myself.

After 14.Kg1 he has given up a bishop for a pawn. His attack has completely failed and after Daeru's combination you can even bring the attack to him by switching your queen and rook to the h-file after f3, Kf2 , Bd2 and Rh1. Then when he defends , play Rh2, Rah1 and Bxh7, winning.

I analysed this game with rybka daeru and I see that Qc7 wins for me. But thats a very engine like move. Moving the king to g3 is more principal and human like.. imho. If u saw Qc7 without an engine you're a stronger player than me!

Its the best move... just that retreating the king in a greek gift position is ussually suicide

Yeah, several times in blitz games against my computer I can remember forgetting that if the defender can play B-KB4 the sac won't work. Frown  Hopefully I've learned that lesson for good by now...
