I’ll never understand how they rate games.

I just defeated a player. It was a long game. I was usually better, at least as far as I could see. Still they were tricky and played some fairly creative moves. They beat me in the game rating. Not by a lot, they had more. It was 71 to 70.7. Still according to the report I made the only Great move. Also everything else was equal except *they* had one missed win. Why would they have a higher game rating?
