I’m stuck on tactics

Just accept that you are not a tactical player, and move on to better things.  Like positional play, strategy, opening preparation, middle game play, endgame study, etc.  I am not a tactical player either, when I study tactics I do it with the CD version on Encyclopedia of chess combination, so I can see the position in the chessbase reader together with the solution to the position.  That way I do not have to pull my hair out trying to figure it out on my own

You can get the CD ECC5 (Encyclopedia of chess combination 5) at house of staunton

you will need to get the free chessbase reader if you do not have fritz.  Then you will need to install the ECC5 and open it from inside the reader or fritz.

When you intall ECC5. you will end up with an icon in your desktop, then you browse to it from inside the chasebase reader or fritz

The ECC5 has 3001 positions from actual games.  You just scroll to the end of the content page to the non-training section and select the type of tactical position you want to look at.  The position will show up in the chasebase program chessboard together with the solution, you just click on the notation to see the pieces moving in the chessboard

I hope this helps
