You're in the better position, but it looks drawn. You take his g-pawn, and he moves his knight over to sacrifice it for yours.
Is this a draw? help!
Thanks, I thought so.
Wandering - I came to the same conclusion, there's no way around his sac right?

This is a game in progress and you are cheating by asking for help with a game in progress.... tsk tsk !! Noone should comment on this game.
Reb, I have NEVER before posted anything from one of my current games!
#1 - I said that I've offered a draw but I said nothing about it being accepted or not, and
#2 - I only bothered because of curiosity - eitherway the game isn't going anywhere, I was just wondering if it was rude of me to ask for a draw now or not .
It seemed like pretty much of a dead end to me.
But please know, I NEVER cheat in any way, no engines, no databases nothing!- all I ever do is use the analysis board to no end (admittedly).
I honestly did not feel that this was wrong, though it was strange, I admit again, to post about a current game.
If this is considered wrong, then I will make sure to observe the practice of always waiting until a game's conclusion before posting any of it, due to technicality, but I really feel I committed no wrong.
Sorry to offend...
I really need help to know if I did the right thing here. My opponent outranked me by over 200 points, and I managed to get into the situation below. I thought that I'd offer him a draw since it seemed that if anyone had anything to lose it would be me.
Usually I would fight on until the end, but given his greater rating, I thought I'd settle for the 11 points and a draw.
Did I do the right thing?
