I would have taken the draw in this position.

I'm not clear if your game is still going on, if so we should not comment.  If it's over what was the result?  I wouldn't give black a draw here.  If the game is over let us know, I can give you why i think it's not a draw then.

MM78, the game is essentially over. white opted to exchange pieces and then I took out his pawn and promoted mine. just a matter of timw now

 

it appears that white's only chance is to bring his king around to attack the g6 pawn, is this what you were thinking?

Yeah and the hope you might make a mistake.  I've just set it up and played around and frankly unless black does something stupid there is no way for white to make progress.  The Knight is a good piece in endings when the pawns are all on one side and white can't cut the king off with the rook in this particular position.  Dead draw but I would have have got you to prove it for a while :-)

 I guess i could have added either side would have to do something stupid to lose, seems your opponent may have done so :-)
