yeah i think online is a little bit different because of shorter time controls
I play otb like 1500 but online like 1000
Is virtual chess harder than over the board?

Every time I play people over the board, I normally play with good accuracy and play as at least 1000 ELO average. But when I play digitally, I play games until I'm rated 800 and play like a 500 and lose. Even with pre-moves off, I manage to blunder all my pieces in rapid games, while playing my normal openings. Am I the only one who does this? Is this normal?
