Just got my analysis my basic removed.

I've always had a basic analysis report accessible but now seems like I have it no more. When I uncheck the "self-analysis" it automatically checks again and a pop-up appears asking me to pay. It's never happened before and I play on a daily basis. Has this website gone 100% pay-to-learn?

It's certainly not 100% pay to learn. Free members get a lot of free learning resources. Including free learn to play lessons and one other lesson per week (free).

I would rather pay a few cents and get more.

Okay that's true but what happened with the analysis? Did they limit it now for free accounts? I certainly had access before to unlimited basic analysis.

Same happened to me. It looks like basic analysis is no more available....

Same here, when i uncheck self analysis i get prompted again to upgrade my account.

So it looks like it's time to buy premium membership

Or just move to another chess platform

If you're going to pay for an upgrade, don't do it for the analysis. It's 100% garbage and they should be ashamed to be peddling it as having any value other than an unreliable blunder checker.

Do it for the the lessons, clubs, tournaments, videos, anything else... but not the analysis/game report.

You haven't even played one game, so it seems unlikely your opinion is informed. 

The analysis here is well beyond a blunder checker. Over the years I have been here, it has improved in countless ways over the free blunder checkers out there.

Now no one has said or shown exactly what the free members used to get that they are missing. Could someone post an example?

You made a false statement, that I "haven't even played one game".

Playing a game on the site server here has nothing to do with the analysis. Things aren't always exactly as they seem.

Perhaps you'd like to share an example of this quality, paid for, analysis/game report? It's frustrating not being informed.

I did suggest a few other reasons to consider a paid membership.

There was exactly this same analysis as premium available, but with half depth (10). Now it is gone (strange thing is that membership popup still has this button "show basic depth instead", which is broken now)

I already started playing on lichess. It's a shame because I prefer chess.com analysis visuals and Ive had this account since 2014, but well, Im not gonna pay for something that's free in another site. Analysis reports are the tool that I use the most.

same here....everywhare analysis is free.Self analysis  is joke..
