I have never posted a game before and wanted to put one up.  I am proud of the sequence leading up to his resignation.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

At first I thought you were playing horrible butt that comeback and sacrifice was sweet! Well done!

5. ... d6? Why not castle here to protect f7?

11. ... Bxf2+ certainly wins after 12. Rxf2 as you showed. What happens after 12. Kh1? Now you can't sac the knight on g3: 12. ... Ng3+ 13. hxg3 Qh8+ 14. Qh5.

So maybe 11. ... Nxf2 attacking the queen and setting up a discovered check next move is a better option.

Very aggresive play on your part after the rook capture. Nice game.Wink

Good point on 11...Nxf2, but I figured if he moved 12.Kh1,Qh8 would set up mate after Bg3.

Loomis

After 12. Kh1 Qh8 13. dxe4 you'd better have a checkmate coming because you're down a whole rook. Unfortunately, you don't have a checkmate coming. 13. ... Bg3 14. Bg5+ Kd7 15. Qg4# ouch.

Yeah, your right, I would have been in trouble, I just threw everything at him and it paid off, sometimes I 'm too aggressive for my own good, even in turn based chess, I rush my decisions, apparently others do as well.

um... just looked at the title... you should be aware that your bishop wasn't sacrificed as takng it with the rook loses material, not wins, but the knight sac was good... as stated above your attack had flaws... but that's ok man, nice finish.

Cool attack at the end, but your game was lagging early on. Nice comeback, though!

Opponent didn't give much competition, but you took advantage.
