Today I entered a local tournament after going to my first uscf tournament last week in recent times. The tournament I attended last week left me with a 1706 provisional rating; however, after my less-than-steller performance today I believe my rating will take a plummet. So help me out. Where did I go wrong? Please help me correct my mistakes!

So I won my first game which I expected since he was like 350 points lower than my provisional rating. In Round 2 I am paired with a some college kid and I am white again. This was my most intensive round of the tournament. This game is the first one you see at the top. I will post game 3 later as I have to eat right now, but help me correct my mistakes/analysis. Thanks In advance.

Thanks for the recommendations Paul. I totally missed the f4 tactic in game 2 which would have given me a larger advantage. For game 1 it seems like I had this nagging slight advantage the whole game, but couldn't convert it. Was it the opening choices I made or too many exchanges or what?
