Long Back and Forth Game

I am new to chess this is just the th game I've played but I've been using chess mentor, tactic trainer, and skipping through some books.  I am black.

Seems like I won just because he chose to pin his bishop and then started playing worse after he lost the exchange.  Happy to hear any advice on what I should have done or specific things to read/do.
