I can't say I agree with f6. It makes your e6 pawn very weak, and taking the bishop with your knight could be good for you.
Me vs Palatine 2018

Instead of f6 I was considering Nxe5 16. dxe5 f6 17. exf6 Qxf6 with a nice f-file. I mostly wanted two center pawns as soon as possible which wasn’t the best idea.

13. ... Nd7 - I like that thinking; re-positioning a piece that wasn't doing much to a better square/purpose.
14. ... Nd-xe5 - I don't know if I agree/disagree with this move. Maybe getting your a-rook into the game via Rc8?
15. ... f6 - I agree with Jon here. I don't think f6 was appropriate unless you can get e5 in immediately without any pressure against your center pawns. Unfortunately, there were just enough pressure by White that forced you to defend the pawn for the rest of the game.
35. ... h6 - Ke6 looked interesting... don't know if it'd work though.

Let me point out some positional mistakes u made.
1
Nf3 Bf5? (Allows c4- your bishop is misplaced and qb3 attacking b7 will be annoying)
Also judging your playing style of grabbing the center, i would suggest the kings gambit or vienna game-bc your opponents will not know what to do against it( in ur rating level) and u can grab the centre and win.
2 e6
Not bad, but this weakens light sq and allows h4-h5 to be strong
3 a6
This is a good move!!! However it was played for the wrong reason( preventing b4-b5) so it is bad. If b4 b5 then na5 and nc4 and u have good knight=good position. a6 prepares b5 so it is good, bc b5 a5 b4 is strong( rupturing thw white queenside structure.)
4 White is not”up” because your centre is weak- in fact, quite the contrary! Qd5! Will allow you to mobilize with ne7-f5/d5 and better position.
Sry 4 typos, was typed in 15 min. Gl in tournaments( no time to write more)

Hello! This week I was playing black at board 4. My coach and my brother decided modern defence probably isn't the best choice for me, so this game is a Caro-Kann. I made some bad exchanges in time trouble and ended up resigning. Any analysis is appreciated!
