I don't mind using the Grand Prix attack but when they play d5 early, it generally very quickly moves in a different direction.

The engine considers 22. Rxf6 to be a brilliant move and well, I'm happy that I did see that but it was a fairly straightforward idea to get access to the enemy king.
What I'm happier about is that I saw 26. d6 which the engine just gives a 'best move' tag to. I was about to just take the rook on f8 with the bishop and then the idea came to mind due to what the enemy bishop on e5 was guarding.
