Congrats, my friend !!!
My 1st USCF Tourney win!!

Hah...right on. Not sure why but I happened upon your games and took a looksee, then stuck around entertained. Well done on your winning, but more so, well done on annotating your games (whether or not anyone else may agree with the analysis. heh =]). I'm sure you'll be climbing sections if you're taking the time and effort to do a decent look-over afterwards.
But possibly most importantly, I just finished rewatching the Pirates trilogy. So good job. Hah =]

Glad you enjoyed it. Also I would love it if you had the chance to correct some of the analysis. Which really it's not analysis but more of a "What was I thinking" ... but yeah, if you saw something or read something I said that stood out as just wrong, I'd love to know. Improvement is bliss!
nice and you were 200 pts (nearly 300) ahead of all the competition.
Dont let anyone of these characters put a bad angle on this... congrats on winning your first tourny. It was awesome how you described what was going on in your head... Ive been there... this was some of the best commentary I have ever read... not just explaing the the move/moves/ line of play but the emotion that goes through you (or your opponent) depending on whats happening on the board. I know what its like facing younger opponents... Ive lost my share of games to them too, but also won my share (tied for first at Baco Raton Florida at the 2009 U.S. Class Championships Class C).
Thanks again
