But Black is at least 3 moves away from being castled and I don't see what's wrong with exd5. Is it because it allows that nice d6 fork after exd5 exd5 Ne5?

There is nothing wrong with exd5, it is probably the best move. But black is in trouble, behind in development and the king stuck is in the center.

for starters you open the e file, you don't even need to calculate more, please study Paul Morphy, Morphy's Games of Chess by Philip Sergeant is a good one but its in old notation
Okay cool, will do. Thanks

My first brilliant move is above. The move was 16.Ne2!! and I was genuinely surprised at this, because the move came naturally for me. I wanted to checkmate the bot more easily, so I did that, but man was I happy!
I did my 3rd brilliant 5 minute ago. Have you ever done a brilliant? Here is my 1st brilliant move. Sadly it was against a bot. (Fabian-BOT)
