I think "Reassess Your Chess" by Jeremy Silman would be beneficial for you. In your annotations you seem to avoid looking at more positional goals, and just fight with basic ideas.

I agree with you. I suck at positional chess, no excuse =((
Thanks for your opinions. I wonder why chess.com thinks my rating is 1500+. I have been playing with opponents around 800-1200 and they made blunders so they resigned. I don't trust the rating system and I feel embarrassed when people think that I am truly a 1500+ players while I am not even close to
Ratings in general don't really matter. Care more about the enjoyment you get from chess. It's a game after all!

If you bash folks with the same number as yourself you kind of get +300 as a most recent calculation rather than say a +50 when lots of games exist.
3. ... Bg4 to provoke 4. h3 well great but what if 4. Nbd2 was played. Generally speaking your early bishop charge encourages Qb3/Qa4
9. ... Nf6, I think that is pretty neat. I am more a 10. ... Nfd7 type myself.
12. Bd3xNe4 is just crap.
14. Re1, hmmm Rc1 or Qe2 14. ... g5! oh yes, way to go.
15. Bg3 is just about the only move. However ... h5 will follow.
You played well.
You clearly saw 15. Nxg5 BxNg5 16. BxBg5 Rdg8 maybe also (17. f3 Bxf3 18. QxBf3 RxBg5)
As it happened the game was decided by your in between capture.
Oh you are easily 1500+
Dear friends
I love chess so I want to improve my chess game. You know, losing is NOT fun! So I plan on posting my games with annotations. It may not be fully annotated because I am a truly amateur so not every move has a purpose. Sometimes, it is my gut. Sometimes, I have no better move (to the best of my knowledge). I don't want to spam the forum so I create a this post as a collection of my game. Please help me with my games if you see the dedication in my annotations
This is my second game in this forum. I played Black, which I have less, if not zero experience. So I was a bit passive with "wait and see" response. White had a better opening play because he made some surprising moves, which I never played before as White. I managed to survived but somehow he had a blunder and resign. Whew! What a lucky game for me!
