Nice game in the Caveman Caro-Kann

Recently I started to look at a caveman approach to the closed Caro-Kann. It goes like this: 1. e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.e5 Bf5 4.h4!? A real caveman move; the idea is to trap the bishop if balck plays e6??:-)

But the move is not bad at all - actually it makes a lot of sence to advance on the kingside, and in some variations black will suffer hardly on the white squares.

Yesterday I played a nice game in this caveman caro-kann and I want to share it with you.

I hope that some of you would like to play the caveman caro-kann!

Interesting point - but still, I like the potential dynamics in whites position. But you may be right, that it is not the best move, I dont know.

Excellent game! 7...Qd6 IMO is not very good and 12...Nxg4 was asking for you to give it to him, which you did!

If you're interested, here's an OTB game in the line at a similar level (1900/2000 FIDE equiv.)
