I don't usually play like this, like moving before finishing taking pieces.  Did I do well or was I too aggressive?

You played well and  "moving before finishing taking pieces" is an essential skill.

i figured out recently that it's good to stall taking a piece right away, if you pay attention there might be something better to do like the example above.
