you have an easy draw if not a win: Rxg7, Ra7, take the pawn with your rook and push the passers

It does look like the rook can take both pawns, but it's not as simple as birdboy suggests after 1. Rxg7 Nc6! keeping the white rook off of a7. Now white has 2. Rb7+ where 2. ... Ka4 allows Rb1 and Ra1 scooping up the pawn and 2. ... Kc2 (defending b1) allows 3. Rc7 a2 4. Rxc6+ and Ra6 winning the pawn.

But maybe I missed something?

Why does everyone suggest the same line with 1. ... a2 and ignore black's attempt to keep the rook off the a-file with 1. ... Nc6.

Rxg7 Nc6 Rg8

Rxg7 Nc6 Rg8 Kb4 Ra8 Na5

Of course, white can go to the f-file with the rook and then down to the first rank and stop the pawn that way. But you gotta give the whole idea, just saying one move doesn't really help anybody.

White should win this game easy, take the g pawn, then sac the Rook for the A pawn and with the 2 connected passed pawns and his King out of play you will be able to promote one  of your pawns since his Knight can't beat 2 protected passed pawns in the endgame.  Worst case you should draw after you sac your Rook for the 2 pawns, since King Knight v King endgame is a draw.

1 Rxg7 Nc6, 2 Rg8 Na5, 3 Ra8 Kb4, 4 Rf8 a2, 5 Rf1Nb3  is the best Black can do to prevent the Rook from capturing the pawn.  White plays 6 g5 and continues to advance the pawn.  If the Knight moves, White plays Ra1.  When Black's King reaches the second rank, White plays Rf2+.  Either way, White trades the Rook for the pawn and wins.

There are a few other possibilities, but Black can't get his King close enough to the action to get a draw.

Interestingly, if it were Black's move, he could draw with 1 ... a2 and possibly with 1 ... g5 as well.
