38) Rd8 was a mistake, i would prefer,

i think from here on it gives a better playing space for white
one think to remember is the importance of the current diagonal of the white bishop, which should not be altered, and the white rook if played in the d-file will prevent free activity of the black knight....i guess it would be better for white
