    no, that's not the reason. you underestimated my thinking prowess. I want to show my full potential to you. I just had a look, your blitz rating is 1895 so, I think you will be more than worth my opponent. so, it's your call whether you are up for a match or not.

    Question: What do the numbers (e.g., -1.81) refer to that are posted after each move in games that I have the computer analyze? I recognize that blunders have larger negative scores, but many of the "agreed" upon moves are low or negative point values.

    @krabdr

    0 means equal game(+/- 0.25 wouldnt matter much). +ve means white's advantage. generally +1 could be attributed to one pawn advantage. But in diff situations/positions its meaning may differ. below 1 means white has a slight advantage. above 2 means white should have winning advantage. same goes for black for -ve pts.

    @ssakash

    In my opinion ur opening wasnt too bad, just average. For one, it wasnt a famous named opening, which was probably why ur opponent played a very dubious one. generally opening wouldnt matter if u can avoid blunders in middlegame when u r under pressure(assuming ur opponent plays a better one).

    Having said that since every opponent isnt the same(and familiar with diff openings/positions), so u will meet somebody who can pick on ur slight mistakes and make position very unpleasant for you. for example - e4 openings are very sharp early on and it may prove to be a blunder to play Nc6 instead of Nf6. similarly d4 openings, though slower, will sting you once u hv played about 10-15 moves. u wouldnt even know exactly where u went wrong(if u are only concentrating on piece development - without any order).

    So, Even though it may not matter most of the times(at our lvl), other than piece development, openings have two more aspects - order of piece development and tempi/tempo.

    I think it is an IM's Defense against the patzer opening! LOL!

    After 1.e4 Nc6, why didn't you play 2.d4 and claim everybit of 'space' as long as your opponent wants nothing? You surely need to study some basics! (Don't take me wrong Smile)

    1.e4 Nc6 is the Nimzowitch opening. After 2.Nc3 is an invitation to play the Vienna opening. For that to happen should black have played 2... e5. 2... Ne5 is an useless move as the knight can be chased away with d4 or f4.

    Playing f4, Bc4 and Nf3 is an effort to play Italian and Vienna like play.

    This is my 5th Blitz Chess Game in The 1st World Cadets Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship 2017 U12. In this game, I played Black and won but I thought that was just lucky so I want you to analyze this game! Thanks
