You know how to mate with king and rook, I remembered I struggled with that until I watched a guide, now I’m trying to get better and more effective with it. Good game.

You made a lot of blunders there. Like I always say paying attention to the board before every move an making sure the move you make doesn't affect you in a negative way is very important as well as spotting your opponents own blunders. You did well spotting the checkmate idea at the end but you let your opponent pull too many tactics on you(even though he ended up losing his own advantage after something stupid) and if that was a higher elo opponent things wouldn't have gone your way.
You did pretty good defending the scholar's mate. A nice way to defend it is that after you do what you just did you can put your knight on the d4 square which threatens the queen and a fork after you take the pawn on c2. A lot of lower elo players actually don't see that threat and they only see that their queen is in danger so you can definitely catch a lot of them off guard.

I'm surprised at how much better you are at the beginning of the game than the middlegame. You were playing top move after top move for 4 moves in a row at the start. I am going to have to recommend 5.Nd4 instead of 5.Bb4+?! He probably was better of with 5...c3.

ya I agree with that

Nice checkmate. Why could've taken the black bishop with his bishop . That also would've been mate as well

I hate when people do that
