Problem with Quen Gambit c5

Sort:

At our last Championhip my opposit played Queens Gambit.
I played plack and learned to develope my pieces and when white move his whitesqared bishop I have to hit the c pawn o that white has to move this bishop twice.
After that I whanted attack his bishop whith b5 and develope my my whitesuared bishop to queensite.
But at 6. white moved c5 that changed my plans.
Where did I lose the game?

I don't know this opening but with black on move 6. I would play a5 to prevent b5 then b6 on next move to threaten winning a pawn on c5 with bxc5 and Bxc5.

White doesn't develop quick, then it is not a problem if you you don't castle quick.

You mean I castled to quick, so that he can attack my kingsite?

No, I mean he attacked because you didn't take care soon enough of the c5 pawn which blocks your black bishop, and since your white bishop is also blocked, it is a bit like you are playing with less pieces.

So if you didn't castle so soon you would have had the same problem, I just meant you have to complete your development before castling, if you can, and here I think the moves I suggested may be good for that.

yes an early b6 would've helped i think and u shouldn't have let his pawn advance to e5 too

and after 9.0-0 u played Qc7  i think better is 9.0-0 e5!(exclam not given on assessment but on my liking of the move)10.dxe5 (or else u go to e4) Ng4 when u should recapture the pawn with a good, solid position.

c5 is rubbish just play b6

The time to deal with the c5 intrusion is right away. Aside from the a5/b6 idea, you could also try a Qc7/e5 combination that will keep him off his balance in the center.

usually white doesn't play c5 until black plays a6
