I have seen this combination occur twice within the last week.

Forced Queen death for bishop and a knight.

Its black's only move.

1. e4 e5

2. f4 exf4

3. Nf3 d6

4. Bc4 Nc6

5. d4 Qd7

6. Bxf4 Nge7

7. Ng5 f6

8. Bf7+ Kd8

9. Ne6+ Black resigns 1-0

It's a nice trap, however I doubt it should happen very often since it is dependant on so many moves, that are questionable for black. Black must have moved queen to d7, knight to e7 and may not have developed the dark-squared bishop or advanced his d-pawn.

And even if all of this is true, on move 7 black must fall in the trap, rather than play d5 and counter the threat.

It was a online game I played and yes there is a way to stop it.

Just thought it was a fun ending- Thanx for your insight

It was a very good trap and a nice way to win but Qd7 on move 5 was questionable because that dark squared bishop need to be developed. However, it was a nice one

I agree.  No reason to play Qd7. Same with Ne7 is blocking the bishop.  Nevertheless  the last two moves of white are interesting.
