This game was pretty darn even throughout.  Very fun game.

51.Qf8+ wins the knight.

I would have played 53.Qc5+ and then try to promote.

qb1 was the move that was responsible for you ending up with a draw .besides i couldn't find a reason to make that move .i would go with chesser777 qf8+!would have won you the knight and eventually the game!!! nice game though ,its alright to make mistakes while learning.

Ah!  Didn't see that one. Thanks.

kd1 is better right away

after 21. q-e3 it seems white will be in trouble after b-c6.  Even without calculating all the lines out it just seems good for black.

Pretty obvious when you took the bishop on  move 31 it was not good for you.  Patience is key in a position like that.  Probably 31 r-e1 threatining knight and (indirectly) rook is better.  Forcing the trade of rooks and going into a queen versus knight and bishop.

That was a rather interesting game.

Seriosity

white was winning for about 80 percent of the game, at least in my eyes. what a valiant effort by black to force a draw in that endgame.

that was pretty.

Actually, I was expecting the move you just pointed out, and was going to move 22. nd3

on move 7 I think I would have played pawn takes pawn. e4xf5.

I think 5. exf5 would have at least won you a pawn.

two more things  on move 10 you had to take with the knight or pawn you just got lucky your opponent did not play d5 then d4 winning the dark squared bishop. And then the ending could have made a lot simpler on move 29 with rook takes bishop. Rook takes rook. Queen g3 pinning the rook to the king and winning it. Game would have been cake from there. I would say move 10 and 29 were your biggest errors. I did not really understand move 12 but I guess you idea was to let the queen take the pawn to get an attack with the rook and bishop on the g7 pawn. Maybe h4 would have been better to not lose the h pawn  dont know.  I dont really care about anything after move 29 since one move there would have changed the rest of the game. You should have lost then you should have won.

Onehandgann is right with move 29.

However, move 10. ... d5 doesn't win black the dark square bishop. 11. Bxf6 prevents going down a piece.

sunshiny  yeah you are right bxf6 is a saving move but black still gets queen takes b2 after the other bishop moves so move 10 is still a mistake  just not as bad as I previously saw it.

White would just have won a rook for a bishop (and a pawn).

White would still be up on material. Or do you mean black? After 5. exf5 black plays 5. ... Bxg2 then 6. Qh5+ wins the bishop.

6. Qh5+ Ke7 7. Qg5+ followed by 8. Qxg2.

or

6. Qh5+ g6 7. fxg6 Bxh1 8. g7+ followed by 9. gxh8=Q

Still doesn't seem like what you're talking about. Closest i can see is this:

5. exf5 exf5 6. Bxf5 Bxg2 7. Qh5+ g6 8. Bxg6+ hxg6 and maybe you're thinking 9. Qxh8, but better would be 9. Qxg6+ Ke7 10. Bg5+ will win the queen.

I sacrificed the Q just to make some fun game!

Most chess players afraid to make so unclear combinations at own games.

Go for it!

Fight on!

You will study a lot for such experiments!..
