Never seen a stranger endgame then this one I as Black  was involved in recently in an online casual game. I thought I had a draw at best when my opponent resigned. I thought this very premature and told him so.  Who was right?

NB It is black to move not white as the caption states.

if i were black, i would be confident ... i think white's resignation is reasonable in the context that there's probably not much he can do to prevent black from promoting.

that's a mental play through, and i could be wrong (as is often the case!)>
