the decision to en passant is not up to you but you're opponent. if he doesnt want to take it then he continue straight but if he does then he clicks the diagonal square but i guess if u were the person who gets the choice then same explanation

I'd have taken advantage of the fact that his bishop was pinned to the queen and I'd attempt to capture it or simplify and seek an exchange of queens

I got up to 750 at some point but lost a few, now on the grind towards 800, then 900. I'd be happy to just get to 900.
