This was my first ever brilliant move.

It was actually kind of accidental; I didn't see that my rook was hanging. When the bishop captured it, I felt a little deflated because I thought I'd blundered. Then, I looked a little closer and fully realized exactly what putting my rook there did. I was over the moon!

I got my second brilliant a few weeks later; and while I played that one on purpose, it still didn't feel quite as good as this one. There's just something about playing an amazing move entirely by accident and surprising yourself when you see it.
