The chance of Nelson rejecting an early queen attack is existent, it’s just very rare. It’s about 1% - 3% I think.

They all know, but the way low elo bots are low elo is they run stockfish at 1300 elo (which is as low as the engine can run) with added "features" (early queen f'instance) and occasional (or more frequent) totally random moves, which is why they're so rubbish to play against.
They can't simulate a genuine low elo player.
Nelson is an interesting one, he's clearly not just the engine at it's lowest level.

No, of course they are powered by Komodo! I should really stop using terms like probably, I think, I believe, maybe, I guess, likely, etc even though I know it exactly.
