I'm not very good and I usually give up after a blunt if I find that it's gonna be a waste of time to fight til the end.
In this game, things were ok until the blunt that cost my Queen at move 19..Bg5.
However, looking at the game, I found that continuing the fight might be worthy.
(Any comment to improve my whole playing will be appreciated).
Here are my thoughts throughout the game.
7.Nxc6, I expected my opponent to play 6..Nxc4. Because he didn't, I decided to get ride of his knight, because I didn't want my army to fight to protect my knight.
8.Bg5 was to pin his knight considering my e4 pawn might join the fight.
9.Qd2 to protect Bg5 and allow me to castle
10. From there, I decided to castle on the queen side and attack on the king side. First, push the pawn, then decide what's next according how the game developps.
11. Pushing my pawn
14. e5 to withdraw the bishop on the king side and close the diagonal for the black queen.
15. a3 to prevent ..Bb4
16. Bg4 to prepare Bxe6+ then 18. f5 as foreseen. Next will be to bring my king pawns, queen and rooks into the battle. I have no precise idea for what is coming then.
19. The blunt. I didn't take the time to sit in the chair of my opponent to see what was his best next move; it often costs not doing it.
19..Bg5! When a blunt happens, I decide if it is worthy to keep on fighting. I could see that 20.Qxg5 will double my opponents pawn and that I could force an h opened file with 21. h4, then .hxg5 and that my Be6 was blocking the black king escape on g8; I found it funny to continue the game, even if my queen was lost.
23.Rh6 in hope to bring Rh1. I expected my opponent to play 23..Rh8. Unfortunatly for him, he didn't and I I had calculated the next moves to win the game if he didn't.
