Stong opponent, I lost, where did I go wrong?

By the way, I thought you played a good game.  I am just suggesting that such an aggressive approach was destined to fail against a much stronger opponent.

Thanks all you guys, it's cool that weak players like myself also get help from you!
My goal at this moment is becoming 1600/1700 so I could play some games here at the local club and sort of have a shot. All your advice I will take with me.

- play a opening I know better, especially against stronger opponents

- try to trade more, especially with stronger player,

- defend the centre-fields better (albeit I have to say that since I knew I would lose this one, I also took a not so known opening, in the hope he wouldn't be very efficient at either (a wrong tactic as I have learned now)

- check better for blunders before moving

- better protect my pieces

It all seems so simple when I put it like that, but I'm sure it will be a challenge in itself to achieve these goals :)

Why in hell was the name of the oponent deleted?

If he had lost against a much lower rated player perharps he would be mad for this exposition, but he won!

Why did Chess.com delete this?

When I help beginners or novices who want to get beyond just knowing how the pieces move and start winning games against better players I give them one piece of advice to get them going in the right direction:

DON'T GIVE AWAY YOUR STUFF.

Unless you get an IMMEDIATE advantage by doing so.  Even then take a really careful look because you're probably wrong about that...

Chess.com didn't delete it.  Wilbert did out of politeness.  If you click on his name, you can probably find the game and the opponent.  I'll save you the trouble.  It was me.  :)  Shortly thereafter while waiting on some games, I decided to browse the forums and ran across this thread.  This thread is my first time posting.

I commend Wilbert for wanting to find out how to improve his game.  I played a take back game with him with running commentary.  He catches on quickly!

I deleted this out of respect for my opponent. I didn't knew if he minded me posting this game. Besides, why does the name matter?

Edit: i see you already got the answer ;)
