No shame in being beat by your instructor, he was giving you a lesson anway. From what I see in the game, is you didn't develop with tempo. When you refer to 7....Nf6?, as a sacrfice to for attack potential, Moving the knights into their center squares in the first move or two is usually a good way to devolpe them. Ask your teacher what he thinks about your development in this game, (I'm sure he will say something about moving that bishop more than necessary!)
This is a game with my teacher that I lost and had a hard game with him. I hope that after you see this game that you may post some suggestions for me.
