There's a thingy actually called "Analysis board" that allows pretty much unlimited takebacks.

My opponent played Rb8 after I played Rb1. I realized it was a mistake but my opponent didn't do anything after Rb1. However, after Rb8 "Takeback requested".
There should be a rule, if you ask for a takeback, it should include your opponent's move too. If they wanted a takeback then I would want a takeback too with Rb1.
