I ran another virtual tournament between various chess engines rated around 2800-2900 and trying to find points slightly before where both the chess engines came into agreement that one side was gaining an obvious advantage that led to a win.
Its not easy to determine specifically what move or two might have led to the later landslide but I'll share some positions that appeared to be key moments from a few of the games.
For #1, it was black to play (and eventually win) and for the other 3 it was whites turn to move (and ultimately win the game).
Can you guess what moves were taken for these 4 chess positions ... to be honest, I feel like much of the gameplay between these chess engines is a bit beyond my ability to follow, but it's still quite enjoyable to try
I'll give some hints and then the results below (again, it was black to move for #1 and white to move for 2 to 4)
... would you like a hint first?
(feel free to keep scrolling down

Ok, here's a hint: 3 of the 4 moves were rook moves. Scroll down a bit more for the results

Alright, for #1, it was (black) rook from c6 to h6 in order to later threaten the king with rook/queen pairing.
For #2 it was king to f3 to keep the black pawn at d3 from promoting.
For #3 it was to move the rook from a1 to f1, in order to double up the rooks and provide a serious threat to the black king.
Now #4 was quite a wild ride hehe
... it ended up being quite complex, but still the initial move appeared to have some benefits, except that the white bishop at c1 was sacrificed, but later after black had to move the king, in order to avoid checkmate, it went down as a finale with white taking some pawns and then moving the queen to e8, checking the king and then taking blacks rook at b5 with the black king STILL in check - so basically, it was "game over" at that point. If you want to try to follow the 5 or 6 sequences of moves to arrive there, feel free.
Hope the rest of your week goes well
