The Ryder Gambit

When I play blitz games, I often use gambits. They either give me instant success or irritation for the rest of the game. One of my favourite gambits is the Blackmar-Diemer gambit, and, when possible, I always try to play the Ryder gambit.
Yesterday, at my local chess club, I decided to use this gambit in a real OTB game (2 hours each) if the opportunity came. And to my surprise, my opponent did exactly what I wanted him to do. Until a certain moment where he went offbeat. Here is the opening.

Now I played a terrible move. After my agressive opening, Black has several options to punish me.

Ok, let's move on. Black didn't play Qh4. Yet another good move was Nc5.
C4 is indeed explosive for white. Black can commence a devastating attack.
Of course, a3 instead of Nb5 stops mate, but I still wanted to show it to you. Let's move on.
Time for a puzzle. Can you find what I played?
Another very lucky game. Feel free to post analysis/comments anything...

hehe, yes you're right.
Still, if you want an open game and you're not afraid to sacrifice some pawns, I would try it sometime in otb. Only opponents <1600, of course :)

Thanks for the article. I see quiet often 5...e6. Any ideas how to continue?

I think this is the only game I've played through here where I was actually laughing out loud - wild, man! I couldn't believe it was a 2 hour game ... I think congratulations are the order of the day, for whatever reason!

Here is a trap in the Ryder’s gambit called the Halosar trap.

Well OP is really nice and detailed, also I like to say that I have a lot of common points with OP as he is Finegold fan, saying c4 is explosive (I am also Finegold fan) and football fan, calling himself IbraCadabra, which is a surname for Zlatan Ibrahimovic
