Well, you convinced me :-) right - now going ahead and creating that new thread, featuring the game "with the 25 extra moves"... :-)
The Solsky Evaluation

So - we have a new thread now, on "online chess at chess.com" - where I show a game I won today, in which my "Solsky evals" are demonstrated. I hope you will enjoy it.
This system of yours seems to just be pointless. Yes, sure you could use it, but why have to go through all the effort of explaining this system to others and standardizing it when you can just say the description like "white's slightly winning here" or "white's winning but will have to work for it".

I wouldn't call it pointless exactly....
I'd call it dumb, really, really dumb.

Well, not that bringing up a post from 2014 to say its dumb or pointless.......is nether dumb nor pointless. We dont want to offend anyone here

I didn't bring it up from then, that was bobretac. I highly disapprove of the practice of bumping really old threads, I've even made multiple threads begging the chess.com staff to close threads after a certain length of time. Once someone has bumped it though it seems kind of pointless to ignore it then, especially since half the threads around are ones from years ago - so after it happening so many times you just kind of give in to it (I mean to posting in threads that are already bumped, not bumping old threads of course).

Perhaps. But I think for the most part feedback is valid, whether it's a day or a a year+ after the thing you're giving feedback to.
Still cool. It'll be interesting, I think. The reason is, be it chess or music, ...inevitably, you've opened the window to the mind of a master ;). It's just the discipline which varies, yet the noodle remains the same, hence the insights and though progression, ...psychologically insightful, perhaps consistent. I'd love to see it my friend.
I find it very interesting, ...how folks measure, rate and critique themselves. Some can't. Your system is creative & interesting therefore.
I grew up loving live Jazz in New Orleans, as you know, with several family members institutionally entrenched as part of that professional Jazz musician scene & culture. Your concert videos are simply facinating and lovely bro. Any thinking man, I believe, periodically unconsciously & naturally inevitably perhaps, mentally wanders to a curious pondering about the thought processes of phenominally talented people, as they produce their live art, music or craft. I've wondered what my uncles were thinking, as they lifted my heart and blew my mind in the 70's. What they create in synergy, what you and your friends create, transports one from the routine, daily prosaic & mundane sine-wave of the mind, ...that musical pleasure-centers thing, of fascination & appreciation. Glimpses to the progression of self-evaluation (which some folk are perfectly incapable of), ...what goes through the noggin ;), even if remotely translating to different, lesser persuits, seems quite interesting to me (especially those extra 25 moves ;).
Such honest, self-appraisal, you know, ...frank and close-to-objective-as-feasible self-valuation is facinating. The scale and arbitrary metric is far less important (or interesting) than the progression through self-assessment, or so it seems to me. You're onto something ;)!
