On move 8, it would have been easier to trade the bishop off instead of defending with the king, which makes it easier to be attacked. Once the two knights get into your position, it’s very hard to stop. At move 12, for example, I would capture the knight with your rook and then recapture with the king. A rook is usually worse than 2 knights, especially when they’re attacking. Also playing moves like h6 earlier helps to relieve the pressure. The key is board awareness, which takes time to grow.
